The curator of the
religious book section of the Library of
Congress was asked to name the finest book on the
life of Christ, in print or out of print.
The curator, who was an expert in his field and well
acquainted with the holding and accessions of the Library of
Congress. Dealing with the biographical works on the life of
Christ, he replied without hesitation, "the book Desire of Ages
by Ellen G. White is the most beautifully written book on the life of
Christ in the Library of Congress." |
